Shirley
is a commercial muralist & illustrator and has been for the past 15 years. Her work has spanned Europe and Southern Africa for both private enterprises and public establishments. Her range of work is vast. The Murals range from German & Bavarian castles to outward-bound centres in Wales and full conference room, panoramic canvas murals in South Africa. Smaller works include wall hangings and privately commissioned canvases. Shirley has produced sculptural works on a large scale, and been involved in massive conceptual window displays for wine merchants and outward-bound retailers. Shirley has had Illustrative work commissioned and bought by British Oxygen and has submitted bids to British Telecom for marketing developments. Areff Productions have commissioned and bought backdrops for New Year and Xmas themed events. Shirley has designed several Hotel and Inn signs together with their business cards, menus, wine labels etc.
Shirley has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Community and Recreation she also has a HND in illustration taken on her return to the UK after an 8-year absence. Her time was spent in France, Botswana, Swaziland and South Africa.
