The event involved the whole ground floor of the centre. The entrance, the foyer, main eating and dancing area had been transformed into a 70's scene with props, costumes and music. The brief was to create a 70's street scene to connect the foyer to the main area.

The mural depicts a street scene that starts with the end of the hippy sixties, through glam rock, rasters, punks, grease and mods. It was designed to be a vibrant busy scene using music fashion and popular culture.
